| CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT |
 |
Quorum Training has long recognised the value of CPD for the professions as a means of maintaining and enhancing the knowledge base of those working in the finance and allied fields.
The majority of our courses are either accredited for CPD purposes or recognised as meeting the CPD requirements of a wide variety of professional bodies.
In May 2004 the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) published its ‘International Education Standard for Professional Accountants’. It is on this standard that most professional bodies are basing their revised CPD polices. For a full list of IFAC members or a copy of the standard please go to www.ifac.org.
A summary follows of the major professional bodies whose CPD schemes either accredit or will recognise Quorum’s courses.
If you are looking for courses that meet your CPD requirements during a certain period then use our calendar of events on our website to identify what is available during that period.
For the purposes of the schemes detailed here, a one day Quorum course comprises 6 hours of tuition.
Some professional bodies allow members to claim for time attended.
