COURSE OBJECTIVES:UK Charities must prepare their Accounts in the format stipulated by law currently SORP 2005 for Accounting periods beginning on or after 1st April 2005. The course covers the main requirements of the SORP and provides a case study as a practical example and illustrations throughout to demonstrate key treatments required by the SORP. Learning outcomes include obtaining a greater understanding of: the contents of SORP 2005; the presentation of the trustees’ annual report; the statement of financial activities; and how to analyse support costs.
