COURSE OBJECTIVES: International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) are financial reporting standards that are tailored to the specific accounting and financial reporting needs of national, regional and local governments, related governmental agencies, and the constituencies they serve. The objective of this course is to give an overview of the state of the art of these standards and compare them with IFRS.
